Put out by the folks at Apartment Therapy, and inspired by Garrison Keillor's Prairie Home Companion, we're putting on a regular radio show for children and adults and it's all about the music. With our live band we feature weekly song sing a longs and a regular version of happy birthday. We also feature a special guest, ask them about their favorite book as a child and end up with an original story. We hope you'll join us.

This show is a toast to the first warm days of Spring!

Recorded on a super sunny day in Brooklyn, we had special guests Cassandra and her daughter Sonia (7yrs) in the studio to talk to us about bedtimes and learning to read for the first time.

Marta was awesome, even with allergies, and we had a great time recording some new songs like "Little Magic Glasses" by Johnny Cash along with "Eentsy Weentsy Spider", sung by special guest Sonia and all the rest of us.

Monkey, Monkey returned to tell the odd tale of the big monkey and the little monkey who each lived in a tree that didn't fit them, and we all got to sing a very happy birthday to Swiss Miss's Ella Joy. We hope that you enjoy the show.

Nursery Radio: Spring Opener

This is for kids like you. Welcome to our first attempt at doing something we've been DYING to do for years: put on a little radio show with singing and stories. If you click on the little audio bar below you'll join in (it's 20 minutes long).

This week we had a great new song by Marta called "No Power, No Problem", a birthday song for Zephyr, Jack & Sophie and Cora (not quite last week, but close enough), an interview with Sara Kate and Ursula and the story of Monkey, Monkey who lives at the top of a frozen treen. We hope you enjoy it. And if you send us more tips and birthdays, we'll sing about them on the show.
